Roads and Bridges Division

Under the guidance of General Manager & Deputy General Manager (R&B) Roads & Bridges section has been functioning.

Since the authority is mainly providing road related development services to the southern province, roads and bridges division take place a major role within the organization. Except to the head office staff under this section there are three district engineer’s office and seven divisional engineer’s office under the road and bridges section to smoothen the road development works which are spreading within the southern province. Preparation of Annual programmes, Tendering and evaluation, Procurement works, finalization of estimates and bill certification work are mainly done by head office staff. Similarly District and divisional Engineer’s office are responsible for the preparation of initial estimates and monitoring of project works and checking the bills which has been submitted by contractors.
