The mechanical workshop plays a crucial role in maintaining Southern Provincial Road Development Authority’s (SPRDA) fleet of vehicles and machinery, which are essential for road maintenance and development. It has the potential to expand its maintenance and repair services to other governmental entities within the Southern Province. Initially, this proposal will focus on the potential for expanding the Southern Provincial Road Development Authority’s (SPRDA) Mechanical Workshop’s services beyond its current capacity, which is limited to servicing internal vehicles. By leveraging its existing skilled workforce, tools, and infrastructure, the workshop aims to increase its daily servicing capacity and extend its services to vehicles from other ministries and provincial departments. This expansion will not only enhance operational efficiency but also create a new revenue stream for SPRDA, positioning the workshop as a cost-effective, reliable, and comprehensive vehicle maintenance facility for the province’s governmental fleet.
